Decent percussion mixing, your kick could be a lot tighter and floor-filling. Also too much reverb on your leads and plucks, it makes them sound a little over-compressed on top of the general mix which itself as a whole sounds a bit squeezed for volume, oversaturated. But, I love the vibe. Your bass is delicious like dark chocolate.~ Just watch your limiters and balancing!

Transitions from major section to major section aren't particularly stellar. But very good besides that, very good instrumentation within each section, though I felt you could've brought up the cello and bass more in the mix. My favorite part is definitely the piano at 1:21 - I can tell that was a very ordinary soundfont and you made it sound gorgeous. I also really like the little interludes of the kick just cause they're mixed fantastically and tightly. Keep up the great work with that!

Thanks for the review. :)

My favorite game of all time, and my second favorite song from the game. Brilliant job reorchestrating it and reworking the vocal rhythms to fit the English translation! It's not been 2 minutes yet and I've gotten chills 3 times already :)
And my sincere apologies if the star rating is a bit wacky or nonexistent, Newgrounds won't let me select anything :(

Sadly, I didn't get to play Okami, though I did read up on the story after playing Okamiden. It's a really beautiful tale and this song just brings everything together really nicely.

I'm glad you loved it! We all worked very hard on it. :3

Aww man!

So good! But so short! PLEASE make an extended mix of this, as it's really good when hanging around with my girlfriend and it'd be great to have that percussion and guitar just going on for a looong long time.
But even so, It made me very happy just now. :) So thank you for that.

I love the soundscape.

I love the envornment created by the richness of the driving bass and the twinkly reverb of the lead. It's overall an incredible orchestration, and it sounds incredible because it all fits together so tightly.

Downloaded, 5'd, and faved. What a great remix; it has such a nice rhythmic and yet calm feel to it that's truly rare and special in DnB.

With such a widely worded review i decided to glance through your tunes, awesome stuff man fav'd n fived a lot of stuff.

Thanks!

Amazing.

I think it could be called Ravers' Waltz. I love how the beginning starts out in this almost regal fashion lilting back and forth, with everyone waltzing and being all formal and everything. Then everyone breaks out of formal dance formation and statrs goin' crazy over the breakbeat, and then right back to formal. It'd make for a great choreographed performance :)

YEAHH YEAHH YAWH...

I absolutely LOVE the orchestral feel, it's so majestic yet still keeping true to the best aspects of electronic music. AND OH MY GOD I LOVE THAT LEAD SYNTH ITS SO TASTY; and I don't care that the progression is extremely mainstream because you manipulated the harmonies really well.
Oh wait...
YAAWH YAAWH YAWH YEAAH YEAAH YAH YAAWWW YAWW YAHW YAHH YAHH YAAH Y-Y-Y-Y-YAWH YAWH.
Keep it up, love the FX, love the harmony manipulation, again I think that covers for the progression. Although sometimes the bitcrusher (I think?) distortion detracts from the formant wobble lead. But other than that nice feel all around, 5/5 9/10. Minus one for two reasons: first of all for the progression (sorry but it is still there :P) and second of all for the mix at times sounding a little but muddy and heavy on the bass 250-500 Hz range. But nice work, keep em comin'! :D

DJ-Babokon responds:

Thanks bro. :) Lol btw the lead synth was the Ebbing waves Flute. :P

Sweeeeet.

Excellent work. To me it sounds as though if all the instruments except the portamento synth and the other pluck were re-arranged for orchestral instruments, this would make a great Super Mario Galaxy track for an epic level. And that takes a lot of skill. ;D
Keep it up,

Trash-Man-1 responds:

Yeah, I get that a lot. Even when I compose in contests where you use really deranged samples provided by the contestants. I guess I just have orchestral in my blood.

Thanks

Awesome feel to this track...

Also loved how it had the same chord progression and basic melody as TMM43 & Electrogirl's Sad Melodies, but I think you did this better than they did.

TIMarbury responds:

wow thanks means a lot to be compared to these. Songs that i would look up to.

Absolutely fantastic.

I agree with Baffy, this is one of your best imo, even better than Deep Inside. It's got such an exotic feel for a trance track and I absolutely love it, please do more :D I love the sequence synth that came in about 1:37, I wish I knew how to make that on FL Studio. The way you do mixing and texture separation is out of this world and it sounds good too.

10/5 20/10 in my opinion, to this day it's one of my favorite tracks to listen to.
